Hello!

I am Méline , a 23-year-old girl who has just finished her degree in Biochemistry and, at the same time, an entrepreneur of a project that and it has become a very important part of my life: Rêves de Bois ("Wooden Dreams" in French).

It all started as a simple hobby. I have always liked making things by hand, and it seemed magical to me to create something from scratch so I could give something special to the people I loved the most. It was exciting to see their faces when I gave them one of my creations; I realized that they not only liked the design, but also the dedication and love I had put into each one, knowing that I had made it by hand thinking of them and that it was something unique.

From there, I started trying my luck making candles, as every time I lit one at home to study, read or watch a movie, I felt a special calm . The aromas that filled the room and the warm light made me feel at peace, even in the most stressful moments. I learned more about them and entered this exciting world in which I discovered the benefits of using high-quality materials such as vegetable wax or wooden wicks. These wicks were my first choice, I loved the soft and relaxing sound they make when you light them, as if they were enveloping you in a small refuge of tranquility . From there came the name: Rêves de Bois , a nod to those dreams that, like wooden wicks, give light and warmth to our lives.

While at first the candles I created were just for gifts to family or friends, little by little they began to take up a larger place in my free time. The truth is that I have always been a creative person full of ideas. So, in a short time, I began to work on many new things and to shape what is now Rêves de Bois. I felt very proud showing my creations to more and more people until I began to sell them. You don't know how excited I felt when I made my first official sales! Every time someone trusted my work, I felt that this little dream, which had started as a hobby, was becoming a reality.

I continue to innovate every day, I am always thinking of new possibilities: new containers, aromas and decorations. The most enjoyable part is the experimentation and having the possibility of turning each candle into a decorative object with its own personality .

Looking back, I realize how this path began almost by chance, but also with a lot of passion and dedication. Rêves de Bois is a dream come true , a space where I can unite creativity, aromas, decoration and a lot of love . Each candle I make has a little piece of my story and is designed to accompany whoever lights it in those special moments of calm and disconnection .
